Require Subscription Before Meeting Registration
You can require users to subscribe before registering for any of their meetings. When this setting is enabled, meeting registration becomes tied to subscriber status, ensuring that only subscribers can register or join waitlists for your organization’s meetings.
How to Require Subscription Before Meeting Registration
In the Organization Management Module, select Settings from the side menu.
Locate Require subscription to register for meetings. Move the activation slider to the right (green) to turn it ON.
Select Save.
What This Setting Controls
When Require subscription to register for meetings is ON:
- Meeting Registration Flow
If a non‑subscriber clicks Register, they are immediately presented with the Subscriber Intake Form and must complete the subscription process before continuing.
- Waitlist Registration
Non‑subscribers cannot join the waitlist. They are presented with the Subscriber Intake Form when attempting to join. Only subscribed (and approved, if applicable) members may join the waitlist
- Subscription Approval
If Subscription Approval is also enabled, a pending subscriber cannot register for meetings. The subscriber must be approved before registration is allowed. - Unsubscribing
If subscribers no longer wish to share personal information with the organization, they may unsubscribe at any time. When subscription is required for meeting registration, unsubscribing will cancel any active meeting registrations with your organization and refund any meeting payments (donations are not refunded). Before completing the unsubscribe action, subscribers are shown a warning message explaining the impact of unsubscribing.
