Chat Rooms Management
HeyPeers chat rooms provide a powerful way for your organization to become an integral part of the HeyPeers community. These chatrooms serve as a continuous source of support, offering members a safe and welcoming space to connect, share experiences, and seek guidance.
Access
Administrators and Coordinators have full access
Peer Supporters have view only access
Peer Supporters have view only access
On the organization dashboard, select Chatrooms from the left side menu.

Chatrooms Page Layout
The Chatrooms management page lists all existing chat rooms belonging to your organization. Each row represents one chatroom.

The following data is provided for each chat room.
| Name | Name assigned to the chat room. |
| Moderator(s) | Names of the chat room moderators. Each chatroom can have up to three moderators. The primary moderator (owner) will be listed first, followed by moderators 1 and 2, if they exist. |
| Total Members | A count of all members who have joined the chat room. This count includes both active and inactive members. |
| Active Members | Members of the chat room who have posted at least one message in the past 7 days. |
| Status | Only active chat rooms will be displayed. |
| Privacy | Identifies if the chat room is a Private or Public chat room. Private chat rooms are not visible on the Discover Chat Rooms page and members must be invited to the room. Public chat rooms are visible on the Discover Chat Room page and are open to all members. |
| Created | The chat room's creation date. |
