How to Message a Subscriber

 You can send a direct, one‑to‑one message to a subscriber from several locations in HeyPeers. Messages are delivered to the member’s My Chat area as a private chatroom, where they can reply directly.

Access
  • Peer Supporters can message subscribers from the Upcoming Meetings rosters.
  • Admins and Coordinators can message subscribers from all meeting rosters and from the EAP Enrolled Members page.

Where You Can Message a Subscriber

Depending on your role, the Message option may appear in the following locations.

Subscribers Page

On the Subscribers page, find the subscriber you want to message, then click the Message button.

Upcoming Meetings – Registration Roster

On the Upcoming Meetings page, click the meeting’s registration count to open the Registration Roster. Find the subscriber you want to message, click the three‑dot menu beside their name, and select Message from the drop‑down menu.

Upcoming Meetings – Waitlist Roster

On the Upcoming Meetings page, click the meeting’s waitlist count to open the Waitlist Roster. Find the subscriber you want to message, click the three‑dot menu beside their name, and select Message from the drop‑down menu.

Meetings History – Registration Roster

On the Meetings History page, click the meeting’s registration count to open the Registration Roster. Find the subscriber you want to message, click the Message button.

Meetings History – Attendance Roster

On the Meetings History page, click the meeting’s attended count to open the Attendance Roster. Find the subscriber you want to message, click the Message button.

Meetings History – Waitlist Roster

On the Meetings History page, click the meeting’s waitlisted count to open the Waitlist Roster. Find the subscriber you want to message, click the Message button.

EAP Enrolled Members page

On the Enrolled Members page, find the member you want to message, click the three‑dot menu beside their name, and select Message from the drop‑down menu.

Sending a Message 

Clicking Message opens a simple pop‑up form.
The form has one field labeled Message. It is a standard, single‑line text field, with no formatting or attachment options.

Enter your message. Click Send to deliver the message

How the Member Receives the Message 

The message appears in My Chat as a One‑on‑One private chatroom for both you and the recipient. The member can reply directly in the same chat. The conversation remains private between you and the member.
