Require Subscription Approval

You can require that all new subscribers be manually approved before they can register for your meetings. When this setting is enabled, users who subscribe are placed into a Pending state until you approve or decline their request. This setting is useful when your organization needs to control who can register for meetings.

What Subscription Approval Does

When Require Subscription Approval is enabled:
  • New subscribers enter a Pending state
  • Pending subscribers cannot register for meetings
  • Pending subscribers cannot join waitlists
  • You must manually Approve or Decline each request
  • Approved subscribers gain full access immediately
  • Declined subscribers do not become subscribers and cannot register for meetings
Subscription approval works together with Require Subscription Before Meeting Registration. When both settings are ON, only approved subscribers may register for meetings.

How to Enable Subscription Approval

In the Organization Management Module, select Settings from the side menu.
Locate Enforce subscription approval. Move the activation slider to the right (green) to turn it ON.

Select Save.

A Pending tab is added to the Subscribers page, allowing you to access the Pending Subscribers list.

What Happens When a User Subscribes

When a user completes the Subscriber Intake Form:

1. Their subscription enters the Pending state. They appear in the Pending tab on the Subscribers page.

2. They see Pending Approval on your organization's meeting tile and landing page.

3. They cannot register for meetings or join waitlists until approved. They see the following message.

Managing Pending Subscribers

In the Organization Management Module, select Subscribers from the left side menu.

The Subscribers page will be displayed, Click on the Pending tab.

Locate the subscriber you want to review. Select the three‑dot icon next to their name.

To approve the subscriber, select Approve.

To decline the subscriber, select Block.

To export your list of pending subscribers, select Export Data.
