Inviting Someone to Your Meeting

Anyone can invite someone to a meeting — including Organization Administrators, Coordinators, Peer Supporters, and even members. The Invite button makes it easy to share a meeting with someone who may want to attend.

Inviting someone does not send a link to join the meeting. Rather, it sends a link to a simplified registration page, where the recipient can register, view details, or invite someone else.

Where to find the Invite buttom

You can invite someone from two places:

1. From any meeting calendar

Find the meeting you wish to invite someone to, then click on the Details button.

Once on the Meeting Details page, select Invite.

2. From the Upcoming Meetings page

Find the meeting on the Upcoming Meetings page. Click the Options button for that meeting, then select Invite from the drop-down menu.

How to Send an Invite

When you click Invite, a pop‑up window appears with several options.
Email Address
  • Enter one or more email addresses manually.

Add a Custom Message (
Optional)
  • Click this to open a text field where you can add your own message to the email.

Send Invite
  • Sends the email directly from HeyPeers to the email address(es) you entered.

Other Options on the Invite Window

  • Copies the meeting’s registration link so you can paste it into your own email or messaging app.

Invite from Contacts
  • Allows you to select one or more individuals from your HeyPeers Contacts list.
  • For more information on the HeyPeers Contacts list, please view the Member Help Center article Managing Contacts.

Invite from Email
  • Opens your device’s default email app using a mailto: link.
  • This lets you send the invite from your personal email client.
  • The meeting registration link is included automatically.

What the Invite Feature Sends

The Invite feature sends an email containing:
  • the meeting name
  • the meeting date and time
  • the meeting host
  • your optional custom message
  • a link to a simplified registration page

What the Recipient Sees

When the recipient clicks the link in the email, they are routed to simple registration interface. Login (or joining if a non-member) is required.

This page allows the recipient to register quickly without navigating the full site. From here, they can:
  • Register for the meeting

  • View the meeting's details

  • Invite someone else

  • Save the meeting to their calendar
