Manually Registering Someone for a Meeting

Administrators and Coordinators can manually register a member for a meeting when the organization requires subscriptions. Manual registration adds the member directly to the meeting’s registration list without requiring them to complete the registration steps themselves.

Access

Administrators and Coordinators only

In the Organization Management Module, select Meetings from the sidebar menu. In the drop‑down menu, select Upcoming.
The Upcoming Meetings page will be displayed.

Locate the meeting you need to register someone for. Click the Options button for that meeting, then select Register Someone in the drop-down menu.

Registering Someone for a Meeting

🔴Manual registration is only available for organizations that require subscriptions. When you search for someone to register, the search results include only subscribers to your organization. The search does not include all HeyPeers members. If your organization does not require subscriptions, use Invite instead.

After selecting Register Someone in the meeting's Option menu, the Register Someone pop-up window appears.

Use the Search field to find the subscriber. You can search by first name, last name, username, or email address. Press Enter to begin the search.

Find the subscriber in the search results. Click the Register button beside their name.

The subscriber will be added to the meeting’s registration list immediately. If the subscriber has email notifications turned on, they will receive an email telling them they were registered for the meeting.
You will be forwarded to the Registered Users page, where you can confirm the meeting registration.

If you have more subscribers to register, you can do so from the Registered Users page as well. Simply click the Register Someone button to repeat the process for the next subscriber.

🔴Important Note
By manually registering someone for a meeting, you are bypassing:
  • Meeting registration limits
This process will increase the maximum number of meeting registrations allowed.
  • Meeting payment requirements
If a payment is still required from the subscriber, that payment will need to be handled offline.
  • Individual meeting registration limits
This process will register the subscriber for the meeting even if their individual registration limit for this meeting has already been reached.
